Mrs. Michelle’s Class Handbook

Second Graders are out of this world!

Dear Parents,

Welcome to second grade!  My name is Mrs. Michelle Overstreet.  I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year.  I am looking forward to a super year with your child!  I realize that teaching is a privilege, as well as a tremendous responsibility.  I will do my best this year to ensure that each student has a motivating and safe learning experience. I believe that what happens in my class will affect your child’s future.  We have a busy and exciting year ahead of us!  Your child’s time will be well spent.

This handbook is designed to let you know how everything works in our classroom.  It provides information on the policies, procedures, and high expectations for the school year.

Please review this handbook with your child.  Good communication is essential for a successful school year.  I know we will be able to work together as a team for the best interest of the child! J

Keep the handbook so that you may refer to it throughout the year.  Please feel free to contact me with any concerns you have throughout the school year. You may send a note in your child’s homework folder, call me at school 674-4860 or E-mail me at michelle.overstreet@graves.kyschools.us

Sincerely,
Mrs. Michelle Overstreet

We stay in our seats.                                               Ears Listening.
We use voices soft and sweet.                                      Lips closed.
